Day 3

Departure from the guest house at about 11.00 and we go down from the mountains to the sea past the town of Galaxidi and head to Nafpaktos – the pearl of the Peloponnese
The main attractions of the city: the Venetian castle and the Venetian fortress, the walls of which form the entrance gate to a small port.
At the very end of the 15th century, Nafpaktos (then called Lepanto) was conquered by the all-powerful Ottoman Empire. In 1571, one of the largest battles in the history of naval battles took place here, and in 1829 the city became part of independent Greece.
That naval battle should have been especially remembered by the author of the famous Don Quixote Miguel Cervantos – he lost his hand here, and the Scottish King James even wrote a poem in honor of the winners. The city is not particularly famous among tourists, but this is precisely what attracts those who have a special love for Greece and want to see something new.
Travel time to Nafpaktos about 2 hours (140 km)
Stay 1 night in Nafpaktos, free time after arrival.

Day 4

After leaving the hotel, we head across the Rio Antirio bridge towards Diakopto, here we visit 1 of the 2 wine cellars Tetramythos or Mega Spilion (journey time about 1 hour, distance 62 km). In addition, be sure to watch the monastery of Mega Spilio and then move to Nafplio for 1 night. Travel time is about 2 and a half hours, distance is 150 km.
We drive through the mountains and on the way we stop at caves with waterfalls and lakes. An amazingly beautiful place.
We don’t have much time in Nafplio, but in the evening we have organized dinners in the historical part of the city.

Day 5

On the way from Nafplio we make a stop in Mycenae and finish the tour with a wine tasting at Nemea Winery.
We return to Athens and stay for the final night of our wine tour. This whole route will take us about 170 km with stops and tasting. In terms of time, everything will depend on how much time it will take to Mycenae and tasting, and what will be the atmosphere in the group 😊.
